The theories of Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity are flawed and are hindering progress toward new fundamental discoveries in physics. In order to replace these theories, we must go back to the observations and reinterpret them. However, in an extremely advanced science like physics, observations can only be interpreted using earlier established theories. As a result, though many scientists agree that modern theories need to be corrected, none of them have been able to return to the observations and look at them with a perspective which is not colored by aspects of existing flawed theories.
